GBA Comment Letter Regarding the Section 301 Tariffs

The Global Business Alliance submitted comments regarding the economic impact of the Section 301 tariffs. In its comments, GBA makes the case that the tariffs have had a harmful impact on the U.S. economy while not achieving their intended goals. GBA also provided alternative policies that would be more effective in combating the Chinese government’s unfair trading practices, including working multilaterally with like-minded countries and more strategic and targeted export controls.
