Manager of Government Affairs

The Global Business Alliance (GBA) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to implement the organization’s proactive advocacy initiatives. Working independently, yet in coordination with GBA’s policy directors, the manager of government affairs will own the day-to-day operations of the organization’s proactive advocacy initiatives, spending much of his or her time connecting with GBA member companies, congressional offices and administration contacts in pushing GBA’s policy agenda forward.

As the only organization focused exclusively on supporting the international business community in Washington, D.C., GBA ensures that policymakers at the federal, state and local level understand the critical role that foreign direct investment (FDI) plays in America’s economy. GBA advocates for fair, non-discriminatory treatment of foreign-based companies and promotes policies that will encourage them to establish U.S. operations, which in turn increases American employment and U.S. economic growth.
