For military families whose lives often include regular moves around the country and the world, education serves as an important layer of financial and professional security as well as an anchor during seasons of transition from active duty to civilian life. Throughout the past 20 years, Samsung Electronics America has provided thousands of college scholarships to the children and grandchildren of American Korean War Veterans through the Samsung American Legion Scholarship. In 2015, they launched a partnership with the National Military Family Association to establish a scholarship for military spouses pursuing higher education STEM-focused careers.
